Saturday Sampler - Aspiring Stars
How it works:
Registration is $35.00. This will get you into the program, and include the first month's block pattern and fabric. (the background fabric is not included in the block kit)
Return each month with your finished block, and receive your next block fabric and pattern for free. (The background fabric is not included in the block kit) If you do not have your block finished, or do not come to the assigned date, there is an $8.00 fee for purchasing your block.
About the Quilt:
- The quilt measures approximately 94 1/2" x 94 1/2"
- There are 13 blocks, which each measure 15" finished.
- The quilt is made with all Island Batik fabrics (24 different prints!)
- The quilt uses several Studio 180 Tools. Some of these you may have already! But don't worry, you don't need them all at once, the basics you may even have already.
- There is several techniques in the blocks.
- This is a confident beginner, or Intermediate project.

On the first Saturday of the month, at either 10am or 1pm (you choose!) Stop in and enjoy our block demo, bring your show and tell, and we will have our own show and tell! Instructions on using the tools will be included in the demo
Every person that brings in show and tell will get a raffle ticket each month, and at the end of the 13 months, we will give one lucky winner a $250 Gift Certificate!
The instructions for each block are professionally printed, in color and in a 4-6 page booklet, with extensive instructions on using the S180 Tools for both left and right handed people!
You can choose from a Dark background or a light background.
The monthly block kits, will not include the background fabric.
Finishing kits will be available to purchase (pre-order) and they will include the background fabric (light or dark), the finishing kit will also include all the fabrics for the pieced border, sashing, and binding. The backing is not included in the finishing kit. Finishing kits will cost $189.00, if you opt to not order a finishing kit, you will need to have your own background fabric, which will not be included in each monthly block kit.
