Quilting Fundamentals Series (Class 2)



If you have been quilting for a while or are a beginner and you want to:

  •  Hone your skills to figure out why things don't come out the way you expect.
  • Learn the proper - correct - best - efficient way to do things
  • Learn about color theory
  • Learn to select fabrics based on a color wheel
  • learn about rulers and rotary cutters.
Week 2:
  • Review rotary cutting guidelines
  • Cutting Strips and Squares (these will be used in a project, so we have a plan for them)
  • Differences between 1/4" seam and Scant 1/4" seam.  Best practices to achieve both.
  • Thread color
  • Fabric samples, different quality of fabric.
  • Pressing of seams, which directions and why.
