Make a quilt from Tie's



Using neck ties, choose from two different patterns, "Nature's Potpourri" Show here in a pillow.  Or "Crosses" (Official pattern name TBD)  The crosses quilt is foundation pieced, the Nature's Potpourri quilt is appliqued.

This is a two part class.  First class you will learn to prepare your ties for stitching.  In the second class you will sew them into your desired quilt pattern.

Basic sewing, and machine applique skills
Requirements:
Supplies: (Crosses quilt) Minimum of 20 ties (the more the better) 1 1/2 Yards of scraps that measure larger than 5" squares if you want the scrappy look. Neutral fabrics work best with the ties. Kraftex in Neutral colors Cotton Thread Stabil-tee Stabilizer Pattern Required $20.00 Includes printed foundation sheets Supplies: (Natures Potpouri) Minimum of 20 ties (the more the better) 1 1/2 Yards EACH of 2 different prints (Alternatively, you can make your background scrappy, but will need at least 9" squares Decorative thread to stitch down ties. Stabil-tee Stabilizer Pattern Required $20.00 Includes easy shaper for applique.
